The Role

We’re hiring experienced full stack engineers to build innovative data products. You’ll be joining our agile engineering team, which is tasked with creating an infrastructure for automated data transformations at scale.

What we're looking for

  • You're a skilled individual collaborator with experience building full-stack web applications and data products
  • You have strong opinions on full stack development frameworks and best practices when building web products end-to-end
  • You care deeply about your end user experience and ensuring top quality outcomes
  • You have extensive experience collaborating with product managers and designers
  • You’re research-oriented and have experience interviewing users about their greatest pain points and how they’ll interact with the product to solve critical problems
  • You can distill abstract challenges into clear paths of action

Responsibilities

  • Own a core portion of our SQL backend and provide key determinations on technical architecture
  • Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, designers, and analysts
  • Speak directly with customers alongside team members to understand and deliver solutions
  • Balance speed and quality, with a focus on tangible results
  • Share knowledge, promote best practices and collaborate with fellow engineers
  • Bind our services together while delivering testable, maintainable, and high-quality code

Qualifications

  • 3+ years fullstack experience building products
  • Deep understanding of technologies and frameworks such as React, Javascript, Rails, Node, Python, and SQL
  • Proven record of shipping features on time and on budget
  • Flexible, hyper-collaborative and focused on quality outcomes
  • Self-starter and detail oriented
